Matthew's Note
This is a Patek Philippe reference 3579/1 in stainless steel circa 1970. It is believed this model was made in very small quantities, only in steel, for the Japanese market from 1969-1974. The nice and thin cushion shaped case balances a combination of polished and brushed finishes.
There is also a nice juxtaposition between the round dial fitted into the cushion shaped case.
The pristine blue dial is surrounded by a mirrored inner bezel. This uniquely designed case houses a caliber 23-300 manual wind movement.
