This is a rare and highly unusual Cartier New York Tank Louis with an automatic movement circa 1970's. It is very unusual to find a Cartier Tank Louis in this size with an automatic movement. The movement is signed Cartier and the inside of the case back is signed Cartier New York, as well as all the normal Swiss hallmarks. The all original dial does have some aging to it as well as it is signed Automatic right on the dial. The case is a little thicker than a manual wind Tank Louis from the same period, but it does not have the big bubble like the Jumbo Automatic Tanks from the 1970's do. This is a wonderful and rare Cartier that would be a great addition to a Cartier or any watch collection.
