Matthew's Note
Believed to be produced in fewer than 150 pieces, this Cartier Paris Tortue limited edition “Collection Priveé Cartier Paris” (CPCP) circa 2003 is very special. Especially since this watch is numbered #1! The CPCP collection ran for 10 years between 1998 and 2008. The CPCP collection produced limited edition pieces respecting the past in a more modern manner. The easiest way to differentiate a CPCP watch is that the dial is signed Cartier Paris. The watch we have here is in excellent condition. It features an elegant silver engine-turned dial with 'Cartier Paris' in their classic typeface, with Roman numeral hour markers and blued steel "Breguet" hands. The case is super strong with all numbering fully intact. This important watch is powered by a hand-engraved manually wound privee caliber 437MC movement, which you case see thru its exhibition see through case back. The watch comes on a black Cartier strap with 18kt white gold Cartier deployant buckle.
