This is an incredible vintage Cartier Paris Gondolo aka Ellipse circa 1970's. It's over-sized stepped case has a very sophisticated look. What makes this watch special is that it is in 18kt white gold. Usually when these watches come around they are in yellow gold. The cushion shaped 18kt white gold case has stepped sides and a back secured by four screws. The original crisp white dial has black roman numbers and signed Paris on the bottom. This watch has a manual wind movement and a cabochon sapphire set winding-crown. We put this watch on a fancy purple crocodile strap to make it pop but a more subtle strap color can be used as well for a totally different look. This watch comes with its original 18kt white gold Cartier deployant buckle.
