What we have here is one of the rarest watches Tudor made. It is known as the BIG Crown Tudor Submariner Reference 7924, circa 1958. This watch was born as a dive watch and water resistant up to 660 feet. The 37mm oyster case has the large 8mm "Brevet" screw-down crown with the Rolex logo and lack of crown guards. This dive watch also has its original unidirectional divers bezel calibrated to 60 units with red triangle at 12. The original tropical brown dial is breathtaking The dial has original large luminescent hour markers and original luminescent Mercedes hands. There is one minor mark on the dial at 11 o'clock which is very minimal for a watch of this age and rarity. This fantastic piece is powered by a caliber 390 17 jewel movement with the Tudor Auto-Price winding rotor. Wonderful piece of Tudor history.
