Matthew's Note
Jaeger LeCoultre’s Reference E 2643 was launched in the late 1960s and was marketed as the “Shark Deep Sea” in the U.S., and as the “Vogue Chronograph” in Europe. The “LeCoultre” signed-dial on this example indicates that it was made for the American market. This watch is powered by the famous Val-joux caliber 72 manual wind movement. The case on this watch appears to be unpolished and the original dial is one of the nicest we have seen. There are not scratches nor aging on the dial and the original lume is a beautiful cream color. This minty watch is
accompanied by its original LeCoultre presentation box, two additional unused mint bezels as well as the original LeCoultre 'Shark' Chronograph sales tag with the original price of $180 on it.
